Golang Job: Developer Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system integration, and/or regression tests for applications or processes.
• Responsible for the implementation of pre-defined design specifications.
• Write and maintain program code to meet system requirements.
• Assist the company in developing functional standards for other system users.
• Create and install updates for existing software programs.
• Transform the designs and specifications into high-functioning code in the appropriate language.
• Test and write technical documentation.
• Perform system testing, implementation, and modifications where required.
• Perform regular upgrades and bug-fixing to make the software and systems more secure and efficient.
• Make recommendations, provide different alternatives and be able to clearly communicate the pros/cons of each.
• Ensure adherence to programming documentation and procedural standards, and management goals and objectives.
• Provides expertise in the implementing and integrating of purchased software as appropriate.
• Deep troubleshooting and issue analysis, coding, testing, and implementing software enhancements.
• Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes.
• Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Application or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2- 3 years of professional experience in Programming.
• C/C++ development experience in a UNIX environment.
• Experience in developing web applications using web frameworks.
• Extensive exposure to the programming concepts.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Expert skills in C#, .NET web services.

Preferred skills:

• Ability to program in languages such as C++, Java (J2EE), XML, Python, etc.
• Experience working on Agile projects using test-driven development
• Excellent programming skills combined with graphic communication skills to present ideas and information
• Experience in database designing and implementation
• Working knowledge in high-level programming languages such as Golang or Python
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proactive problem solver with high attention to details

Benefits:

• Package: AUD $65,000 - $85,000 plus Super (depending on experience)
• Full time – Permanent Position

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
